iShark (NSU Florida)

Whether you are just getting to know Nova Southeastern University or you are already a Shark, this app will give you real-time access to online information and features including NextBus, Give to NSU, Events, Shark Athletics, Maps, Course Catalogues, News, Images and Emergency Information.

Weeks of Welcome (WoW): Discover how you can get involved and find out about programs, services and other opportunities tailored to make your experience at NSU even more enriching, vibrant and memorable using the WoW Module!

SharkCard: Find out where you can use your NSU ID, or SharkCard, to access products and services on all of NSUs campuses!

OrgSync: Already the main networking hub for our student clubs and organization, the OrgSync module will provide easy access for students to submit required information to the administration, make reservations for events, gain membership to clubs, and promote their events - enhancing our student engagement and the NSU community!

Orientation: New students now have all their orientation information at their fingertips. The Orientation module provides real-time updates of your orientation agenda, what you need to do before you visit NSU, and contact features in case you need additional help!

Main Library: This module brings the Alvin Sherman Library at NSU to your fingertips with quick access to hours of operation, research databases, and more!

Collaborate: Enhance your online education using Blackboard Collaborate, which is an online collaboration platform providing web conferencing, mobile collaboration, instant messaging, and voice authoring system that enables real-time interaction with your professor and classmates.

Dining: Are you hungry and dont know where to eat on Main Campus? The Dining module now provides up to date information of Shark Dining locations, hours of operations, and even menus!

RadioX: Stream RadioX directly to your mobile device for free, anywhere in the world! Radio X 88.5 FM is a unique, non-commercial, non profit radio station run by students, for students.  Playing the best of todays music and supporting local bands as well.  Radio X also provides world, national, local, music, and sports news, and keeps our students and alumni up to date with NSU news wherever they are.

Trivia App: The I Am NSU Trivia App allows you to test your knowledge about NSU against the rest of the iShark community. Answer multiple choice questions to see if you have what it takes to make it to the top of the leaderboards. Winners in each game session will be awarded prizes so keep checking back for your next chance to win.

NextBus: NextBus is the university’s real-time passenger information system that allows you to find out when the next Shark Shuttle will be arriving near you. It also shows where each bus is along its route. This feature is available today at a website, and with it in iShark you can access it from anywhere, anytime.

Give to NSU: The Giving to NSU icon will provide donors convenient access to online gift giving. The mobile giving application allows you to make a gift or pledge payment on NSU’s secure website. All data collected is confidential and secured using Verisign 128-bit encryption or higher. The App itself does not store any payment information.

Events: Check out NSU’s events by category or search for a specific event by name.

Athletics: Follow Men’s and Women’s Division II athletic teams. Get the latest scores, schedules, highlights, sports news and more.

Maps: Search, pan and zoom in on main campus buildings and navigate NSU’s 300-acre main campus.
